We do not collect, store, or have access to:
All your data is stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit technology. This means:
When you connect with someone in Gentle Ping, you share a private CloudKit zone with that person. Only you and your connected partner can access this shared space. We cannot see it.
Notifications are delivered through Apple Push Notification service (APNs) via CloudKit subscriptions. We do not operate notification servers and do not see notification content.
Gentle Ping uses TelemetryDeck for privacy-friendly, anonymous usage analytics. TelemetryDeck does not collect personal data or track individual users. It uses anonymous, aggregated signals to help us understand how features are used (e.g., how often the "miss you" button is tapped, or how many users complete the pairing flow). No user identifiers, IP addresses, or personal information are transmitted. For more details, see TelemetryDeck's privacy policy.
Gentle Ping does not use any advertising or tracking services.
When you disconnect from a relationship in the app, all shared data is permanently deleted. You can also delete the app at any time, and your data will be removed from your iCloud.
Gentle Ping is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If we update this policy, we will post the new version here with an updated date.
